Read more FAQsWhat certification do I need to ask for?
It depends on the room and your licensing regulation — for example Alberta’s Level 1/2/3, Ontario’s RECE, or a state CDA. Post the minimum for the role and note if a higher level earns a higher wage or top-up.
Can I hire someone without certification?
Many jurisdictions allow uncertified assistants with an orientation course and clearances, within limits on ratio. Check your regulation and be explicit in the posting about what is required before day one.
How do wage top-ups work in a posting?
